(VTC News) – Center for Disease Control Ho Chi Minh City (HCDC) has just issued an announcement instructing isolating and testing people from other localities to the city after the Lunar New Year holiday.
According to HCDC, people returning to Ho Chi Minh City from other localities are required to make medical reports. Depending on the subject, there will be a form of isolation and corresponding testing.
For people in close contact with COVID-19 patients should be in concentrated isolation for 14 days from the last day of contact with the patient. Tested 4 times on days 1,5, 10 and 14. People who used to come and come back from their localities with social dislocation according to Directive 16 / CT-TTg, concentrated isolation for 14 days from the day they left their localities, are socially isolated. Tested 4 times on days 1,5, 10 and 14.
Persons who have come or come from active epidemics (other than close contact) or passed places notified by the Ministry of Health (not in socially isolated areas), isolated for 14 days at home from leave the venue as announced. Surveillance test 1 time. Get tested if suspicious symptoms appear during isolation.
People who have come and come back from localities with active outbreaks, and those notified by the Ministry of Health but have reported more than 14 days, self-monitoring their health. Test when there are suspicious symptoms or when there is a specific site designation (eg Cam Giang, Hai Duong).
As of February 17, Ho Chi Minh City recorded 35 cases of COVID-19, except for BN1660 from Hai Duong, the rest were related to the staff of loading and unloading team, supervising goods at Tan Son Nhat airport (Cong company VIAGS). According to HCDC, the current outbreak at Tan Son Nhat airport has been controlled. Rapid testing is the key to cutting the chain of infections at this airport.
